River Speech Language Pathologists are licensed and follow PA Certification requirements. Therapists provide group and individualized speech, language, and social communication services to students of all ages, including diagnostic and therapy services.

They provide diagnostics and treatment addressing all areas of communication including language, apraxia, articulation, voice, fluency, social language, oral motor, and assistive technology incorporating functional activities.

River blends language, articulation, activities, and structured play and social experiences into therapy sessions, so students are able to make progress in reaching their goals and have fun while doing it!

Each treatment plan addresses IEP goals that are carefully evaluated on an ongoing basis in order to make changes depending on student progress. 

Speech Therapists are equipped to provide ongoing support to classroom teachers to help design a classroom that incorporates linguistic targets and optimal language opportunities for each student. 

River understands the importance of having a strong relationship with the teacher in order to help functional carry-over of goals into all aspect of the student work day.
